you do not need to leave the country after 1 year. Before expiry date you can get an extension if you meet the requirements. Then after that every year you do the same. If you want to live here without a visa look at how to get a PR or how to become a citizen.

They opened for non imm OA visa holders recently. Instead of pleading just contact your nearest embassy.

I do not think so, I think they are going to give everyone a chance to get a new 30 day visa without having to have the embassy letter. They will give everyone untill 1st October to get it. If you do not go for the new visa you will be on overstay after 1st October. I do not think it will be a blanket amnesty, but maybe I am wrong.

I changed from a non imm B to a non imm O, 5 years back (HH IO) and my 90 days reporting did not change. The only possible explanation is that some offices reset upon the change of visa type in country. I however did not experience that.

best is to contact the nearest Thai embassy to get their clarification. As you will be expected to apply through them to enter the country you best contact them. But yes as I understand it it is 72 hours after receiving the test results. Your further problem is that at present they only allow people in on direct flights, maybe it will change.

many people have had problems with multi entry stamps being stamped single entry, wrong extension types and on entering they stamp people in for less than 30 days etc etc. Unfortunately your chance for recourse is small. Good luck.

I still disagree. I entered the country last on 26th October xxxx and did my 90 days. Due to reporting within the 7 days to either side the date drifted to the 18th November. I did my extension on the 1st October but my 90 day reporting date stayed the same. During my 11 years here and in different IO's thats how it worked. Yes what you say about reentering the country and resetting your 90 days is correct. I do not know who you are but your info is wrong about resetting through visa extensions. Just use logic, why would immigration say he should have repotrted on 18 June? Just maybe because it is 90 days after he entered the country.

@Chris *******
they made a mistake and you did not check the stamp. Even this stamp is wrong because 90 days afrer 1 June is not 31 August. You must check everything they give you, never ever accept that they will not make a mistake.

@Chris *******
on which date did you enter the country? Your 90 day reports run from that date not your extension date.
