the uk government website makes it quite clear as to whatvthe entry requirements are. You don't apply by immigration laws don't be surprised if yiu are not allowed to enter Thailand.

Gey a new passport.the airline may refuse you on the flight as you don't comply with emigration laws and even if you get on the flight you may not be allowed to enter Thailand.. but you already new that why are yiu trying to enter Thailand illegally ?

You need a return ticket out of Thailand. That's the Thai immigration law ..of you tried to enter Thailand without a return ticket you have broken imagination rules and they are perfectly entitled to deny uou entry. That's my understanding. If you come to a foreign country abide by their laws or pay the consequences
