i am not sure about phillipines law and order but its air quality most likely better being an island state surrounded by sea. Pattaya air quality should be better than bangkok and chiangmai. but curiously bangkok suffered from smog often recently. Southern thailand regions like phuket much better in air quality but expensive living cost…

any reason not to retire in phillipines? seems less hassles like TM30, 90 DAY REPORT, and annual visa extension or work restriction?
