worked in Thailand in 1999 and have been back visiting and multi entry visas ever since never have I carried that amount of cash not you do it’s plain stupidity. I just use the local bank when needed. What a joke

25 years coming and going sometimes multi entry non 0 visas. I still don’t open a bank in Thailand. I use wise and atm that reimburses atm fees.

Go to the uk Thai embassy and try renewing his Thai passport through them. Actually ask them the same question

Proof is in the visa and birthdate and picture I’m not here to argue. Yes 50 has always been and still is the age but I was able to prove with legal documents that I’m done working for the rest of my life and on disability and that proved income along with bank statements. What changed after COVID is out of country Thai embassies aren’t doing this visa interviews anymore. It’s all done inside Thailand now

what do you need next my birth certificate? I’m not sure what to tell you Paul. I was injured in construction. I was an iron worker I was able to prove to the Thai embassy in nyc that I wasn’t able to work anymore and had enough money monthly from disability. they sure do check your age. Finger prints background checks and more. I was 47 when this was done. It wasn’t a easy process done here at the Thai embassy in New York

I was able to get a retirement visa at 47 years ago. This this was 7 years ago and was able to do so through the nyc Thai embassy. They verified the income from disability. Rules and laws have changed since pre COVID. This option is not available anymore
