Interesting. Typically on forms I put U.S. Department of State because I thought that's what they want, and so far no problems with other types of forms. So I'm curious what the difference is here. Your passport is another country so not sure what is on it. But, does that mean I need to write just "United States"? If so I'm taking note for later.
It's more than ridiculous that they don't explain and let you fix it instead of just taking your money.
Anonymous participant Oh interesting. I thought it all had to be in one account. But maybe I misread or misunderstood something. Thank you so much for the reply.
I just don't like having to take a chance with officers being nitpicky like this or catching one who's in a bad mood or has some grudge with foreigners or the DTV itself. I'd rather not take my chances even with the papers in order.
it sounds like nonsense to me because he had everything they needed, it just wasn't all showing exactly the way they wanted. They're being nitpicky. If you have the funds but have to move things around between bank accounts, there should be some understanding there. There are good reasons people spread their money over different accohnts.
I get that, but then you're up against this kind of nonsense too where they reject it for no good reason. So, personally I'd rather spend a little extra time and money to not have a problem
My understanding is that there are other sports available, cooking classes, etc. But I'll have to leave it up to those in the know as to what exactly and specific places for recommendation.
