What is the latest official policy on the number of days for a visa exemption when entering Thailand by land?

Depending on where you are from. I'm sure 55 countries get 30. Some 15 and some 7.

 you come in on 30 day's exempt you can extend one time for 30 more total 60 days. 59 the day you land is counted.

 yep 30 day visa exempt at immigration at the airport then you can extend that for 30 more days for 1900bht at a local immigration office.

 they are not visa exempt cards it's arrival and departure card. Do not lose your departure card staple it in your passport it's a trip to immigration for a new one.

 5 off those 20 year from age 50 and if you moved to Australia that can be part of that time. Pay to look further into it.

 if you had NZ passport why not. My old man lived in Thailand for years went back home collected his pension then off again.

 bummer i hope NZ doesn't follow that. They are talking about raising the age to 70. But the new government wont do that.
