I read on another thread that someone had to go back 30days or so later and show the funds hadn’t been spent. I intended to sort mine this time but covid changed location plans so on the back burner again 😞

I used the insurance you get with a nationwide flex account - I think you can still open them for about £15 a month

You get all the other cover for phone, breakdown etc - worked out better than most quotes I had for a 75 day trip

75k baht . far from the cheapest but you get about 70m2

Ive stayed In a good few of the cheaper hotels on the ASQ list in bangkok and would’ve lost the plot after two days in most of them knowing the rooms so glad I booked here now

im at grande centre point 55 now and all is good (exec corner suite with panoramic windows all the way round) i wouldnt have liked to be doing it in a smaller room with traditional windows

Will Thai authorities accept my German insurance that doesn’t specifically mention COVID-19?

i used my uk insurance with UKI supplied through my bank account and it was fine - it doesnt mention covid-specifically on it - there was a lot of documents as with most insurance policies so i cannot see them being scrutinised too much as long as medical cover stated is over the 100,00 USD

You can still come but the quarantine is different for UK. No yard time until after 2 clear covid tests / 14 days so in the room
