It means there was a mistake in your application form (wrong country, issuing agency, middle name, and so on).

You need to apply again.

You can only pay again. All fees are non-refundable, and I have a felling it's an automated process.

During the application process check literally everything. They have a poor text recognition system.

Is it normal to receive a visa application cancellation email without explanation in Thailand?

When my application was canceled, I was given the reason (wrong place of issue) but it depends on the embassy.

They have a very poor automatic recognition system for passports, so you need to check everything 10 times.

Even 1 wrong letter will result in losing $400.
