same for me as well, I got stung for £500 for excess luggage month or so back when bringing back marketing materials which to be fair out us way over the weight limit

well my experience over the last 3 decades is different, it's changed a lot, particularly in the last 5 or 6 years with regards to these rules are implemented. I dunno, I am on a plane at least twice a month and that is my personal experience.

which local limits are these then?; The days of flexibility and smalll charges have long gone. THAI might still be a bit more lax, but the rest operating are hot on weight limits.

These 15kg limits have become more common place, because people often travel with 20-25kg sonits opened up a new way of gaining more revenue.

Simple way of avoiding it, check your ticket conditions before flying .

I don't have Pacific Cross, however I have had dealings with them in the past when processing bills. They are extremely difficult to deal with , and appear to like to delay, ask for additional paperwork etc , their model appears to be based on make it so difficult that the claiment will give up. Cigna are by far the easiest and most professional to deal with . This is my experience as a healthcare provider in Thailand. Good luck
