No, not the US. Only UK. She can go to some European countries but you would need a Shengen visa for that country. She can goto Turkey for a holiday, no visa required for Thai passport.

I think you can go to the Republic of Ireland on a UK visitor visa, but not the other way round. Probably best not to apply for 6 months visit. The tips are, first time, say you are coming for 6 weeks or less, and stick to that, even though you will get a 6 month multi-entry.Reply to

It does not make it any easier getting a visa to the US by being in the UK instead of in Thailand. It can still take over a year to get.

If you can get her a tourist visa to the US. You'll need a visa for each country or entry bloc you visit if Thais don't get visa free entry.
