I went through an agent it was 19 thousand bart but believe me it was worth. I had to show divorce papers at British consalate and get it checked out then agent was very good they did all paperwork I just had to sign it they drove me from pataya to Bangkok twice to thai embassy then I was married it took 4 hours. I seen so may men getting frustrated because didn't do this didn't do that for 500 pound Stirling it was well worth it it was grief free just my appinion

They will not let you in you have to have a return ticket to get your tourist visa

I have a Bangkok bank account mine has an app the same as a english bank app and works the same can not print a statement for your phone

For farangs the changed the rules in april 2023 a farang can only have a an account with Bangkok bank. All i needed was two forms of ID and a thai sim card in my phone so thay could download there banking app but the catch is it cost me 7000 bart . I am back in England and my app is working perfectly
