Thank you very much for your very informative response. Exactly the info I was looking for. Much, much grateful for your help! Since I can ask for an extension 45 days prior to the expiration of my current extension, there will probably be a gap not exceeding 7 to 10 days. If I receive the passport earlier than expected, I won't take any chances and make the trip only for the visa transfer first. Thanks!!!
That sounds good! It means I could go to Immigration around September 20 before my wife leaves for work to apply for another extension. She'd be away during the 1 month "under consideration period" but if agents want to come and verify the condo, we have many people here (neighbours, security, juristic office of condo) to attest that we do live together. I'm not too worried about that part. Appreciate your help sir! Thank you so much, as usual!
my branch in Phra Khanong updated my book this morning and even made the photocopies for me! Was in and out of immigration office in 15 minutes! World record! Thanks for the advice! Didn't even have to visit the basement at Chaeng Watthana today! :)
ok, same usual wisdom then! I'll let the zombies gather by 6AM and go there around 9. Thanks a lot for your advice, you're always extremely helpful sir! Cheers!
One more related question : Does one need to make an online reservation / virtual queue number / anything at this time before heading to Immigration at Chaeng Watthana? Do I still need to get there by 2 AM to make sure my request gets processed? ;)
Our permanent address is in Bangkok, my wife has a condo there. We're in a rental in Chonburi for a few months. This is why we are going to Chaeng Watthana. Thanks for the warning though :)
