exactly, you can't have a bank account unless on another visa, many questions awaiting the official embassy write up for the visa and not the flyer.

It says exit and re enter on the same visa, no mention of additional 10,000tb each time, I'm raising some questions with London embassy prior to application.

The 500,000tb is also questionable as it does not clarify in Thailand or home country.

It's a little blurred, but clearly says 10,000tb for a five year visa. 180 days + 180 days extension, then must leave. Return on the same 5 year visa, thus starting the process over again, guess this break means your not a permanent resident. Nowhere does it say pay another 10,000tb for each 180 days. Remember Thailand are trying to attract people not turn them away.

Be interesting to see in 60 days if an extension of 30 days is available

I read the same in the BKK news that the 60 days waiver starts on Monday 14th, however it said maximum 60 days, so wonder if the 30 days extension will be allowed, let's see.
