not for his initial request. Unless he has already had 13 months of deposits before he applies for the initial 90 day Non -O. If you are in country and from the US then the 800,000 deposit in Thai bank account is the only way to meet the financial requirements.

That’s odd as I have always used my initial entry into Thailand and they get approved all but 1 time and that denial was because of the system update.

I was asking for you the author of this post if this is law now and you deflect to go to talk to an attorney or accountant. Then why don’t you let those same lawyers and accountants post since you provide no real information about this. Only speculation
