Stuart Chiverton that is right but the most important is to open bank account in thailand . Non-o is considering as short stay visa most banks in Thailand not allowed to open bank account , unless you have long stay visa such as retirement :)

The mostly important you must open bank account.in Thailand.if you have non o visa .please contact kasikorn bank.most banks in Thailand are not allowed shot stay visa to open the bank account.hope this is helpful and welcome to Thailand
