How can I extend my 30-day visa exemption in Thailand, and what is the process for TM30 documentation?

Koh Samui immigration asks for a print out of the TM30. At least when I did it last time in March this year.

Can I apply for a Non-O or Non-OA visa after entering Thailand on a tourist exempt visa?

I opened a bank account with visa exempt on Koh Samui with Bangkok Bank.

1. got copy of TM30 from my landlord

2. went to immigration to request a residence certificate showing my passport and TM30

3. Bangkok Bank asked for residence certificate and passport and opened a savings account for me. Took me 45 minutes and thousands of signatures 😅

so in total I spend 3-4 days to get it
