Thank you for your comment also Henry, I get the feeling you are a braver man than me. I am too old to make mistakes and being the chicken shit that I am I shall follow Roberts advice and report to Cheang Wattana.. Good on you also.

thanks for your prompt reply Robert. I have only been in Bangkok a week but intend to apply for retirement visa here. I moved out of hotel and took a lease and moved in yesterday to a condo near On Nut. Would you happen to know the closest local immigration office?
