Just to clarify RE: 1) - the TM7 form that you use to apply for the extension has a field marked "I hereby apply for extension period of temporary stay in the Kingdom for……………days." - I wonder what best to put there.

 one more question comes to mind: if they do grant you the covid extension without having to use the regular extension first, can you still use the regular extension afterwards (after the covid extension runs out)?

 do you know of any immigration offices that don't do that? I only need to extend my tourist visa by about 50 days, so it would make much more sense for me to go straight for the covid extension instead of regular 30 day extension + 20 day covid extension afterwards.
