ORIGINAL POSTERHello, is it possible to get a 45-day extension of a visa exemption, or is it always only 30 days? The immigration office of application could be Krabi, Trang, Phuket or Bangkok.

It is not possible to obtain a 45-day extension for a visa exemption in Thailand; the maximum extension is 30 days only. If you have Thai family, a 60-day Visit Thai Family Extension may be available, but usually requires a prior 30-day extension. Just one 30 day extension. If you have Thai family (wife or child) there is a 60 day Visit Thai Family Extension available but many offices require you to take the 30 day extension first.
