This is what happened to a guy who tried to extend another 30 days, the immigration gave him 7days to leave the country, its not a rule, dont rely on your immigration office doing this, there has been a misunderstanding that this has become a rule.
This is nonsense, they you issue you with a full 12 months visa, if you go along to immigration with your new passport they transfer the visa in free of charge, or wait till your next 90 day and do it then, I have done it
if you send money from abroad into your wise account, then transfer to a Thai bank account they pay it from their Thai bank account so it shows as internal transfer not international.
