Not illegal work at all. My students and company were from Myanmar. In fact, I even claimed that job on my Thai tax return and paid taxes on it.

No, because I had a multiple entry Non-O so I left before May 23, 2024 and got another 90 days. That took me to August and then I got another 60 days which took me to October 2. So, as long as I went before then I was OK.

thank you for the information. About 80 percent of the 40K would come from my Thai salary and the rest from teaching online. That online teaching income is claimed on my Thai return and I pay tax on it if that makes a difference.

some of the month comes from legally working here with a work permit at a government school and some come from online teaching Myanmar students. That money is transferred to my Thai bank account. Not tutoring Thai students. An actual language school that is based in Myanmar but also has a Thai location in Bangkok. But the money is from Myanmar student, so I am guessing it's foreign earned income?

I have been going in and out every 90 days so far. I got it in May 2024 and have left in August and November so far and will going out again in February. So, I think that part is OK. Can I use my Thai tax return to show 40K average a month in income since I am working here in Thailand? Some of the 40K comes from my government school teaching position and some comes from teaching Myanmar students online. Any idea if this is acceptable if I have pay slips, matching deposits in my Thai bank account, and it's also claimed on my Thai tax return? Thank you.

thank you for your response. That's exactly why I'm on a non-O. I don't like being tied to my school.

yes, thank you for explaining this. I have been in Thailand for 10 years and I have never worked illegally. Previously, I was on a non-B, but I prefer non-O because if something were to happen with my job I wouldn't have to leave. I think I will just have to use the 40,000 baht a month option which I can do if I also include my online language school teaching I do with Myanmar students. The money comes from Myanmar so I just have to report it on my tax return I imagine and combined with my regular salary I would have more than 40,000. Thanks for your help.

thank you. Based on what another mod said, I guess it isn't possible so will have to try to get an extension based on 40K baht a month. Regarding that, do you know if the 40K baht monthly can come from more than one source? I am a government school teacher with a salary less than 40K baht, but I also earn money from teaching Myanmar students online. My salary from teaching goes to GSB and the online teaching I do goes to Krungsri. Can it be combined as long as I have both bank statements? Thank you 🙏

Is it possible to get a single entry non-O based on marriage in Savannahkhet, extend 60 days in Thailand for 1900 baht, and then repeat the process? Last year I got a multiple entry non-O but won't be able to do that anymore. Thank you 🙏
