How long does it realistically take to move from the UK to Thailand after selling a home?

House prices will collapse this year in the UK. As the year goes on your value will decrease and there'll be less and less buyers. Even finding a buyer will be a struggle and no chance of a 3 month completion.

Do you need insurance for every year it runs or just for the first year?

Is it cheaper to hire a driver or own a car in Thailand for occasional travel?

Gary ****

Cars cost the same in Thailand as UK from new but depreciate less. 99% are on long term finance so hold their value far longer. If you are only doing occasional trips then it's far cheaper to rent taxis or drivers as needed.

no you would negotiate for the sale of the structure to the landowner, if no joy then knock it down and leave as empty land.

Yeah there's many VIP buses from Bangkok to Mukdahan, its a very busy route. Probably around a 1000 baht.
