Well ...the easy way would be a 6 month tourist visa ....from you home ....or if you are legally ,Maried in thailand.... You could ask for a non o marriage visa...but you need to show all papers ....ask the nearest consulate first

All easy .....no Problem , ...take both to the Next Imigration to inform them that you have a New Passport , bring the New letter from your Embassy that you have a New Passport done, you get a stamp that the New One is registered......finished ....
