This is the list I got from the immigration on phuket

Needed papers for the registration

For me new is the owners power of attorney

After 24 hours You need to be registered as a foreigner , most big hotel do. it online, but private owners not register u normally but u need the

Notification so if he is not able he should give u this as well

U need the form from your owner as well and if he not does it you have to have the power of attorney as well most private owners don't do it, they are scared of paying taxes

Usually needed when buying a vehicle or applying for a Thai driving licence.

Just go with 3 and 4 and an extra 300 thb and they will do it for you! Did the foreign volunteers gave you the list or the actual thai officers?
