Is a bus ticket from Bangkok to Siem Reap sufficient for airlines and immigration when entering Thailand?

Why not just book flight ticket with Thai air, and say pay later, then you get full ticket, and if you not pay thai just cancle the flight, do it same day you fly in to thailand and you have ull ticket for free, I have done many times
