Proof of onward flight seems an unnecessary requisite as many are now buying the cheap fake flights tickets which will never be used . Pity the airlines don't revoke this then we could revert to flexible open itineraries without the frustrating inconvenience and expense of having to book flights that will never be used .

food terrible in phillipines ....would have to Cook your own meals unless you are happy with fast food takeaways Macdonald's KFC etc . Having said that I'm sure things would be better outside manila

it already is a big problem for US ... especially with Saudi Arabia and UAE joining ...apart from 3 of the worlds largest economies china India and Russia .. with potentially the 2 largest economies in SE Asia Indonesia and Thailand maybe joining soon
