Only benefit from current "Retirement" visa, i.e.Type "O" with yearly extensions is: 1,900 baht visa a cost. no 90 day reporting at no charge, yearly multiple exit re-entry at 3,900, monthly income of 60,000 baht or 800,000 baht deposited for 5 months with 400,000 for the remainder of the year. No medical insurance requirement. So in essence my yearly cost of staying in Thailand is visa cost 1,900 baht, with multiple exit re-entry 3,900 baht. Something doesn't add up!
Thanks Frank the on line system works good for me also, I'm just concerned that the lack of update of the visa extension may stop the 90 day system working.
Sorry I don't follow. My question was if I have valid insurance and if I leave and return within the validity of the visa will I be stamped in for the full duration of the insurance. Lets say the insurance is valid for a year will I be stamped in for a full year.
