 when I went to cancel mine MOL said new rule. When my employer went they told him same thing.

If you are in Bangkok you can not cancel your Work Permit. Your employer has to cancel it.

My extension is based on marriage and I have never been asked. That said, I always have it right one just in case. You never know here.

It's not just all the copies but the same copies. How many copies of your marriage certificate or children's birth certificates do they really need.

Big Joke, here's a thought. Every year probably millions of pages of paper are copied and turned in. Mostly the same copies from prior years. Reduce those copies. Reduce workload and save some trees

If you clear inmigration in KK you left si seems it would be too late when you got to DM.
