I wouldn't get either as well. I need to distance myself as far as possible from Thailand Tax Residency, as I need to retain Australian Tax Residency to get the numerous concessions from there. Because residency can be based on "economic ties" I don't want any with Thailand. I won't even have a Thai driver's licence

How about you read the Terms And Conditions of operating a bank account with Bangkok Bank? They have the right (which every account holder agreed to) to freeze an account if they believe there is any breach of the law or bank policies.

Do you have a re-entry permit? If not, your non-O extension has already expired

I haven't had any statement stamped for last three extensions. Why would I say that if it were not true. Plus how would I get the emailed statement stamped? If you have the bank book, it's not necessary, at least in Bangkok. Now demonstrate to me that I'm making a false statement 😂😂😂

So you're making the rules now are you? Do you know how easy it is to get a rubber stamp made? How do you make your PDF statement align with the bank book? Bangkok Bank has not stamped statements for the last three years, and now they've made them available from the app, which is being accepted by Bangkok immigration. Why does it upset you so much? Oh wait, I know already!

The printed bank statement is allowed in Bangkok. No need for bank stamp, as the statement is verifiable by the bank book. My last extension two weeks ago was an absolute dream. 45 minutes in and out!
