When you make the transfer with Wise a drop down box should appear with a choice of reasons for transfer. Choice payment for long term stay in Thailand , or its something along those lines. I think I might of read that it has changed. If the drop down box doesn't appear I would message Wise for advice. You will need this, not so much for your non O but if you want to transfer the money back overseas . It's called a FET system.
Hi Stuart. I will be returning to Thailand from New Zealand. I hold a UK passport. If it's possible to obtain a OX in New Zealand without being a resident, would that be an advantage. I can't remember the pros of the OX I only remember they are only issued in New Zealand.
I was previously in Thailand for 18 months and the last year of that was on Non O retirement.
Yes easy to get visa at boarder. I think is was 1600 baht or something similar. Don't change more money then you need at the boarder as banks offer much better rates
