I have met Filipinas who speak better English received pronunciation than many English born folk with strong regional accents. Yet salaries for a regional English teacher will be far higher than can be earned by a far 'better' Filipino/a.

Yes there are 'wrinkles' and Inconsistencies- in interpretation at different offices - and sometimes with different officers.

But maybe much of what you read is from people trying to game the system. Finding ways to stay beyond 'design' of their visa.

Most people just stay within the rules with no problems.

Refusal is usually because they are not 100% certain the applicant has strong enough evidence that they will return to thailand
