but most expats hear are old men and relate to what they say .not me I may add I am my own man.and in my time with the red cross society of Thailand.the talk in all quarters is very distressing for the tourist industry sorry to say.i have friends in Phuket work in your industry and also sell real estate and I honestly hope all the talk is wrong but if you look at the state of Pattaya and other towns in the south it looks bad.keep safe stay well but most of all enjoy life.

My advice to people on hear is to look at the Facebook profile of people as some on hear work for organisations closely connected to the tourist industry and need tourists to survive .so it's like asking a car salesman is this car ok .O yes sir 3 wheels will be fine .just do your homework on people and then think . there is a great saying never trust anyone who can make a profit out of what they say or advise.

I am happily married for years with a daughter and granddaughter never been to Pattaya live in a small Thai town called Tak no tourists .and I am not complaining plus I never insulted you why insult me and my Thai family?if you would like to take a trip up to see us feel free but there is no English spoken hear so if you speak Thai and have integrated as I have you are very welcome to visit to see that I am not a sex tourist .I actually work for the red cross society of Thailand in tak and see how the sex tourism kills many young girls lives.no nice I can assure you .so please before you know a person don't put them in the same category as maybe yourself or others ok.keep safe in these unprecedented times enjoy Thailand .

Let me fix your post:

You mean no one wants to deal with the constantly moving goal posts and jump through the interminable hoops required to enter a deserted, devastated entertainment adult industry, shuttered down for good all across Thailand?

What a surprise!

Imagine jumping through all the expensive hoops only to end up on a deserted Walking Street, Soi Buakhao, Patong, Phuket, etc with a nasty curfew, no alcohol being served in restaurants/dining places and no nightlife at all.

What a bargain

Yes but nowhere is open .plus the insurance scam and test scam .most expats who have family hear cannot get insurance as they have underlying conditions but they have children hear so sad for them and the families just think if they have the required amount of money in the bank to cover medical expenses they should be allowed to come to they wives and children if vaccinated without all this protocol.yes agree tourists should have insurance.but why corvid insurance if fully vaccinated.?
Tony *******
Don't hold your breath .no worth coming at the moment no where open .plus to many hurdles to jump to enter . hopefully Christmas might see a change in their policy as it's certainly not working at the moment.

Wow good for you one of the lucky ones .I have stories from expats that would put yours to shame .but hay ho I will not be involved in any of that I am extremely happy up in the north of Thailand away from it all .for every good report there is always a bad one as we are not all the same .hope your trips remain hassle free .but you have to agree on one thing Thailand need to get there act together to allow tourists back without all the hoops they need to jump through there are millions of unemployed Thais from that industry that are begging for work I see it all the time up hear it's so sad and heartbreaking to see proud people with nothing and begging for food.i work as a aid worker with the red cross society of Thailand hear and see more than you could imagine.stay safe enjoy life.
