Scott if retired you can get a letter from MSD NZ indicating income yearly and monthly though super which the NZ EMBASSY here in Thailand will check and stamp and issue affidavit for immigration.Think it is about 2 000 baht for the letter plus courier here in Thsiland. The other stuff not sure as here on marriage visa which is slightly different, whatever Tod tells you will be correct.
Sorry to change the subject and ask a question, as I cannot find the site when putting my question,; just saw a video where a guy is saying that Bangkok Bank have changed the rules set out by immigration for money requirements for Non O visa, marriage and retirement and now the time required of said money , 800,
*******
,000 is longer than now hot does a bank change rules ste by immigration if the video is correct. Once again sorry to interfere in this person's question.
Just a question who asked for a 3 month bank statement. Just a bit confused about the post. Is the person already in Thailand. Or coming over, with wife already residing here in Thailand.
Yep completely different to Maha Sarakham, that's Thailand, not as much paperwork for me on now 5th time under marriage visa, plus just letter from Embassy showing income. A few pics from us at home, letter from local Amphur showing we are married, house book and pay the required fee then about a 3 week wait
I always apply about 5 weeks before my marriage visa expires and the stamp to report back is always dated the last week of my current visa, lady from immigration rings on the monday and we head over to get passport stamped next day.
Why don't you just visit immigration and ask them the question, take a person with you if not a Thai speaker. Most advice on this site is good, but why don't people ask Thai immigration, I find them pretty good.
