Well i stayed two months first trip but met someone online here so left hotel after the first week. I travelled up north to her home town. A few nights in a hotel then the rest at her home. Flew out to Vietnam for five days, then back to Bangkok my girlfriend was waiting for me at the airport. I got stopped by imigration so had to phone her to confirm that I was staying at her place. I went to imigration yesterday to do a one month extension we got fined 800 baht for not filling out the tm30 form. Even though the airport were informed with the address. So if you take the risk make sure you grab a paper trail. Who ever speaks to you just get paperwork from them. On that note good luck.
well I'm looking at options now. Still trying to decide if I plan to stay or not. Lost my wife to cancer two and a half years ago. Kind of turned my life upside down. We had a good life in the uk. But we will see.
yes mate not a nice feeling being held by imigration. I travel a lot. First time that's happened. I tend to just fly into a country then decide next place. But after meeting my new lady decided to see if there's a shot with her. Fingers crossed.
I did a five day trip from Thailand to Vietnam to do as we say the visa run. However when I flew back in on once again a one way ticket. this time I was held by imigration. I have a girlfriend who lives here. It was them speaking to her that they allowed me in. If it wasn't for her being at the airport to confirm they were going to send me back to Vietnam
