Can I buy a one-way ticket to Thailand with a non O-A multi visa?

Not that guy, but I fly out of LAX on Cathay Pacific on one way tickets, with a visa, and once they see the visa there are no issues.

What should I know about doing a border run to Cambodia for a Non-Immigrant O visa?

I've done 4 trips to Cambodia to get the extra 90 days, I enter at the one you did, and exit a Chong Chom the next day, and I've never had to pay anything to leave. On all my trips I've ridden my bicycle which seems to give me a special status with Immigration Officers.
