Latest update for your information: I just got back from Savannahkhet for my new Multiple Entry O Visa based on being married to a Thai. (the 6th overall) Just like always zero problems and all in all we were there on thursday maybe with 30 - 40 applicants there.

Requirements have NOT changed. For me :

- Passport and passport copy and a passport photo

- Copy of my wife's ID card (signed by her the day before)

- Copy of Tabian Ban (house paper) (signed by my wife the day before)

- copy of our marriage certificate !!! We do NOT have a Thai Marriage Certificate just our German, legally translated and confirmed by the German Embassy in Bangkok.

- AND the original of the marriage certificate.

Charge as usual 5000 baht, processing time a day.

Travel Cost from Sisaket to Savannahkhet:

Mini Van Sisaket - Ubon 43 baht oneway

Mini Van Ubon - Mukdahan 145 (Return 111) Baht

Bus Mukdahan - Savannahkhet 45 baht oneway

Accommodation simple but clean 250 - 450 Baht available.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently obtained a Multiple Entry O Visa in Savannakhet, Thailand, with no issues, and detailed the required documents, which include a passport, wife's ID, Tabian Ban, marriage certificate (German), and a signed copy of these documents. The processing fee is 5000 baht with a processing time of one day. Comments on the post inquire about reporting requirements and suggest that this visa may be simpler than alternatives, noting that the visa can last for up to 17 months.

Because on this visa you don't have to 90 day report, do you need to file a TM30 every 90 days when you enter Thailand?

No bank stateme nt or photos of the two of you inside and outside house? So easier than marriage extension in Thailand.

Yes if you play your cards right

I guess it's easier to get a similar visa at Sisaket Immigration, OK, the above mentioned multiple o - m visa is supposed to be valid one year and depending on the date (enter before:) you can be lucky to use it almost 2yrs without renewing!
Andrew ******
English only! !

Wäre das in Sisaket auf der Immigration nicht einfacher ?
Andrew ******
U know with our visa u can get 17 months out of it? Get another 60 days on dependency at your immigration office as the 15 months is nearing its end.
