make sure you get advice. You do not want to mess up your retirement visa. You can do your 90 day check in the week before 👍🏻

it must surely be a yearly retirement visa? Not 90 days. (You do check in every 90 days) Your initial post says you have a multi entry. Do not let your retirement visa run out or you have to start again. Also if it’s not a multi entry, you must get a re-entry visa before you leave.

you are correct. Anything important like opening account, buying or selling cars or bikes you need one.

I have never heard of that visa. Are you sure it’s not a multi entry tourist visa? As already stated, you will not have any problem leaving on the day it expires. No harm in visiting immigration for advice several days before.

are you sure. Last year I already had a Bangkok Bank account and tried to open another. I have a retirement visa and had to go to immigration to get a document to allow me to do this.

good advice Peter. One small mistake though. I use Wise and it shows as an International Transfer.

As already stated, it’s not an easy task and almost impossible in most places. If you can afford, I wouid suggest an agent for the first one. Otherwise you will be stressed to the max 🤪

To be honest, I don’t know mate. I am going there next week. Hence the reason I looked into it. But my stay is less than 45 days.

it’s changed now. Foreign tourists visiting Vietnam will be subject to a new visa policy beginning on August 15, 2023, with notable changes including the issuance of 90-day e-visas and an increase in the temporary stay period for people entering the country under unilateral visa exemption to 45 days.

yes. But it’s ok for them to give you torn old Thai currency. I always tell them I want new notes 😂
