I am amazed by some of the answers... YES he needs to have :

- 20k bahts (or in other currencies) in CASH

- Printed return flight

- Proof of accommodation

It’s a rule!

The immigration officer can ask any or all of those.

It’s not because you have never been asked to show the cash that he won’t be.

Be careful... “almost” 20.000 is NOT 20.000 .. I realized it the hard way.. lol

I have to disagree.... I also have a non-O and I did transfer the stamp when I got my new passport.

The sticker can’t (given by the Thai embassy) can’t be transferred.... but the 3 months (not an extension) stamp I had entering at the airport has been transferred in my new passport.

I was leaving... I went to CW bangkok... I asked and they told me I had to transfer the stamp even if I am leaving...

Now maybe they just wanted to make me lose my time... but it is transferable.

So I don’t really know if you “have to” but it is doable.

yeah... we are still trying to figure it out... most of the other kids are interested in hospitality or management... so I heard it was quite easy for them to find something...

My son is much more into sciences ... biology... he has no idea yet how he is going to do that.

Happened to me... I complained and they answered that the date they pick is directly linked to the letter from the school...

The mistake was there.
