People always slam me when I say that Thailand is the Land of Fake Smiles. The Thais will never admit that they are wrong and they will never give you a refund. Again, always be cautious with the Thais. Never trust them 100%. They tell you something, just use the fake smile strategy back. Always question why they are smiling.

Of course agents hate it. They can only make money off of you once every 5 years.

oh okay, the honest answer. You really want the honest truth. I don't think he can handle the truth. Be here it is. The Thais are extremely racist. They arrested extremely racist towards people they think are beneath them such as the Burmese, Laos, and Cambodians. Here is the truth, they are also extremely racist towards Africans from Africa.

You see it as a polite smile, I see it as in fake. But again, I give the same smile back. I am half Vietnamese so I always know what they are going into as my father has many business in thst country. I never said it is an improvement, I said it is raising. And it will continue to take business from Thailand.

Desperate times call for drsperate measures. Thailand is in a recession, you can see the desperation in their face. The Chinese are not coming like they use to as Thailand no longer offer them safety. Vietnam has awakened and is slowly taking away the tourist money and factories. They wasted 50 years of tourist and a great head start. They could have taken that money to educate their population and build something like Singapore. Instead they squandered it all. You can always tell that they smile with their mouth but not with their eyes. The eyes tell a different story. Sad that you do not see it.
