They say to bring it but they never asked me. They have computers their that would give them access to find quickly but to be honest I don't think they even care. I had my documents in 5 minutes. Just paid the fee. Easy peezy. The united states' doesn't realize the marriage in Thailand so they don't care. And I am talking about the US embassy. I brought 2 sets with the Texas seal on them to be safe and no one ever asked to see them. Literally I was in and out in five minutes. Be aware not to take a backpack with any of electronic like a power bank. I had to throw money away or they tell you go down the street and rent a locker.

just realize you probably never make over a 1000 dollars a month. Just realize it would be more of an hobby or something to kill time. I see many teachers make less that and sometimes not receive pay for months. Do your research first. Best option would be international school in Bangkok. They do pay a lot better than Thailand government or public school. I have seen the cost of tuition for some of the international schools, it's like the cost of some colleges in the states. So I am sure they would pay good for highly educated skills

just enough to buy a bag of rice for regular Thais at 60. My in-laws don't even receive 1000 baht a month. Thailand is listed as one of the worst countries in the world for any retirement pay. It's really sad situation

wow. Me and wife went to a district office in Bangkok after we got documents translated with embassy. No problem at all.it was funny the lady at district doing the marriage license laughed with wife and said she needed to try a dating site 555. I am surprised in udon Thani you had trouble. They are usually friendly to most expat from what I here and see. But as we both know any given day it based on the mood of the person.

it seems unlikely that someone would travel without considering how they would get back. Perhaps you're underestimating people's ability to plan and prepare for their trips. Most travelers have a clear plan in place for their return journey.

once again true. I just enter after letting my visa expire do to emergency. I flew back and not a single person ask me for any documents. No return flight and hotel reservations. Just stamp and smiled. So much for strict guidelines being enforce . People say they post and was questioned and maybe grilled but hardly has anyone posted being return to passport origin. People on here would claim the 1 percenters represent the whole. Totally false

that is true. But in Thailand we know they can do basically what they want. And there isn't any ban until 90 days overstay unless you get arrested on overstay . To many people worry the little things. My immigration made a joke and said they love making the extra money. He was so cool after I explained. He personally told me not to worry about after he stapled the receipt in passport
