how on the hell do you people think you get the extension first to open a bank account. The non o is visa to open the bank account to season the money. Once money us seasoned(60) days then apply for 1 extension. Its not the other way around. Make me wonder how some of yall ever got a visa or your just in th group to be a wantabe ex pat

United States has law regardless of 180 days or not that income is first taxed in tje United States. They just had a big article recently explaining the Pope tax obligation is to the United States first even though he is permanently living in the Vatican. You won't be able to use bangkok bank. They are agents for immigration and enforce visa rules. Stay away from them. Their new policy announce a couple weeks ago is they will freeze your money to comply with money seasoning. Agents are no longer welcome with bangkok bank

Don't use wise, use remitly. It's american company with lower fees than wise and the money is transfer in less than a minute. So many people have problems with wise. Some people have had their money frozen from wise and wise takes too long to transfer. I have an attorney friend in bangkok, he was so glad I told him about remitly
