1) How long did it take to cancel/reject your wife's visa application? Was this directly from 'Pending Document Check' or did it move to 'Pending Approval' before the cancellation.

2) Did you get your Visa approved from Shanghai? If so, what was the processing timeline like?

I called the consulate here in China ... they are super helpful and patient..

they said to look-up an available flight and hotel for they date you plan to enter. No need to book it.

Hmm, i'll just wait for my upcoming payment to come in and hold it in the bank instead of moving it to my funds like I usually do.

But yeah, if people can borrow money and show it in the bank account that defeats it's purpose.

Also, I read that funds should not be transferred in one go, I don't understand why someone would constantly keep 1000k in the bank and not invest it in liquid assets... But I also read fixed term deposits are ok, these Index funds or fixed term deposits can be broken anytime, takes a few hours ..
