I'm in a similar position. Trouble is, I'm returning to Thailand in a couple of weeks but booked a return flight (to UK) for February 2023. I'm concerned that if I get insurance to satisfy TP for just one month, immigration will say length of insurance does not match length of anticipated stay and refuse entry. Has anybody got specific experience of similar??
Nigel, COE is gone. You will need Thai Pass. Go here, tp.consular.go.th for all information. As of June 1un/ not fully vaxxed must have negative pcr result issued no more than 72 before departure plus minimum insurance to value of 10k usd. Both of these need to be uploaded when applying for thai pass so you will not get thai pass without them. Professional ATK also acceptable I believe.
hi Bim. I remember now that I read it on the Pattaya One news post and it was definitely upon arrival. What they didn't say was whether the ATK upon arrival was going to be only for those without a pre departure negative PCR result or if the pre departure PCR was being dropped altogether. Personally, I would much prefer just a pre departure test. At least that way, you know whether you're getting into the country without the possibilty of getting carted off to hospital upon arrival. But thanks guys for the responses.
I thought you was looking for forums that could offer advice and assistance with the process of getting a Thai wife / GF to the UK. from people that had already been through that process -
