Yes we know that but the Non Imm O is commonly referred to as a 'retirement visa'. It's the visa needed for the 1 year extention based on being 50 or over!
Technically you're correct, however it is the VISA for age 50 years or over commonly referred to as a 'retirement visa' as opposed to the 1 year extention of stay.
Neal HymanOnly 90 days insurance and most people have insurance anyways, subsequent extentions dont require insurance. Much easier to arrive with a Non Imm O than convert in Thailand.
You're not re- newing your visa, you're applying for a 1 year extention of stay. The main criteria are 800k seasoned for 2 months in a Thai bank account and a years health insurance
