Get the 90 day Non Imm O visa in the UK, much easier!

Obviously the 1 year extention of stay can only be applied for in Thailand.

You do in most Thai Embassys. I only know Laos, HCMC and Seoul that dont require finances. PP requires 400k.

It's not the same at every Embassy. I only know Laos/HCMC and Seoul that dont require financials, most of them do.

If you apply for the 90 day Non Imm O in Country you need to show financials, after the 90 days you apply for the 1 year extention of stay also requiring financials.

Yep. The visa doesnt require finances in Laos. You can get single or multi entry in Savanakhet but only the single entry in Vientiane. The yearly extention of stay will require finances

60 days if you have Thai dependent relatives, ie a Thai wife!
