It would, but things are tough in the west, financially. I've seen so many people I know become homeless over the last 2 years. If she really is stealing, which might not be the case, it's small fries. She hasn't tried to kill anyone etc. Maybe she has mental health issues, maybe she's just bored. It's big crimes like ministers taking huge bribes that should be punished severely, I think.
I was just a student at the time. They weren't my shops. I eventually got beaten up for trying to stop guys from stealing liquor. I felt that stealing an expensive item like liquor by force was unacceptable but I let a few sweets and things slide when the old ladies would come in and chat to me.
No worries, mate. I'd go for a muay thai visa. It'll give you good health, lots of energy and a brutal means of self-defence.
Someone mentioned fightevo360 gym above. I've heard lots of good π things about them.
'Muay Thai Fever' gym in Chiangmai is an excellent gym, very welcoming with former lumpini champions π π₯ for trainers. The gentleman who runs it is very thorough with paperwork. His name's Derry and he's British so communication will be easy.
The website says B20k but if you tell him you've already lost some money π° on a previous application, he'll probably only charge you B15k. He's a good guy. He'll sort you out...and I mean that in the nicest, most nonviolent, possible way π.
Nobody has concrete evidence at this point, brother. I wish they did.
Call me paranoid but when immigration officers in Bangkok see the likes of me, they don't seem none too happy, lol. Thus, I'm aware that I'm only here on their sufferance and hospitality, such as it is.
So, I'm glad that someone as surprisingly thorough (I underestimated him) as the gym owner of Muay Thai Fever is remaining vigilant to any spanners the esteemed and respected individuals at immigration might drop into the works (just to keep us on our toes) and he's continuously thinking/working to pre-empt any complications down the road that might arise from their 'initiatives'.
That's much more than most agencies and certainly more than 99.9% of other gyms.
Well, not useless for me. It reassures me that the gym owner is working on ongoing support for his students in the form of possible paperwork. It means someone's putting their mind to the task of helping me stay in Thailand for the near future.
It takes some of the pressure off me having to constantly read all the posts and articles of speculation, which I still do, as we are all doing right now, as there is an element of speculation here. There is much to reassure me, here.
