You brought 800k TBH worth of cash in another currency into Thailand? Did you declare it? Did they hassle you at the airport?
Technically this is not allowed since the 800k is required to come from overseas which is not true for a cash deposit. But like always, it's up to the office and officer exactly what rules are required.
oh wow, you're so smart Frank, thanks so much I didn't notice that. Since you're so smart you probably know that the dollar sign is commonly used to express several different currencies. Here's a list, smart guy:
United States Dollar (USD): The currency of the United States of America.
Canadian Dollar (CAD): The currency of Canada.
Australian Dollar (AUD): The currency of Australia.
New Zealand Dollar (NZD): The currency of New Zealand.
Singapore Dollar (SGD): The currency of Singapore.
Hong Kong Dollar (HKD): The currency of Hong Kong.
Taiwan Dollar (TWD): The currency of Taiwan, though it's officially known as the New Taiwan Dollar.
Fiji Dollar (FJD): The currency of Fiji.
Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD): The currency used by several countries in the Eastern Caribbean.
Bahamian Dollar (BSD): The currency of the Bahamas.
Barbadian Dollar (BBD): The currency of Barbados.
Belize Dollar (BZD): The currency of Belize.
Bermudian Dollar (BMD): The currency of Bermuda.
Jamaican Dollar (JMD): The currency of Jamaica.
Namibian Dollar (NAD): The currency of Namibia.
Trinidad and Tobago Dollar (TTD): The currency of Trinidad and Tobago.
Zimbabwean Dollar (ZWL): The currency of Zimbabwe, though it has undergone significant changes and revaluations.
You should go back to Huddersfield and ask for your money back.
why do you want the removable ones? I would think you would want the ones they drill into the bones that never come out? Honest question I don't really know much about this subject
yes i realize i'll probably pay a fine. But entry into Thailand resets the 90-day report schedule, so I'm wondering how that will work... the combination of being late and then re-entering.
