Do not try it, we tried twice for my wife's son and 2x denied without explanation, your friend needs to have really good job, large amount of money in a bank account and go with a travel agency!!!!
Joseph Joe Ebejer obviously his wife own the house already, my Thai wife own 2 houses and 3 properties in Thailand before we get married, but the property she got from her mom last year I had to sign transfer as her husband, even I can't own it, but she has to have my permission!!

It is 800,000 baht each, you need 1.6 million baht or 130,000 baht monthly income for 2 of you, they don't recognize married couple, it is 2 separate applications !!
