You can use the government hospitals

Yes you have pay for the service but it's a lot cheaper than private hospitals or insurance,

The cost to us is 25% more than the thai people

Cha Am and Hua Hin are quite good

But for me it's Bangkok I love all the convenience of having the bts and shopping for food.

But you have to come to Thailand and do the rounds for a few months before you can see the place where you are happy to live 😊

have you got the new passport yet or made the application for the passport yet

If not then you will not get the new passport in 30 days as they are going to take 6 weeks before you get the new passport

If Bangkok you will need a copy of both your passport's old and new every page

And a form from your embassy and the other one on the immigration website, if you are going to Bangkok immigration then you will need a copy of your full bank statements for the year, the bank statement will only apply to the retirement visa holders
