It's sad Thailand has such a bad reputation, foreign visa agents and many regular people assume the worst and that women wanting a visa to visit the US are in the sex trade. My friend got his girlfriend into Canada by showing regular deposits like she had a job in to her bank account. America sux especially with Trump back in office. I'm from the US and don't want to go back now living in Thailand 18 years.
You need the TM30 for your first 90 day reporting at a new address then you can go online and do your 90 day reporting as long as you do it before the expiration date.
If you're sending funds from the US the only bank you can use is Bangkok Bank because they have a ABA transaction number all other banks used to Swift system. With my VIP status I can wire transfer funds to Bangkok Bank for free now You have to use wire transfer ACH numbers are no longer accepted.
I always do online reporting at least a week in advance, so far so good. Don't understand why this can't be done once a year when you do the retirement visa... so tired of all the red tape and now this new tax uncertainty bs.
